2. Our Services

Carrollton Epoxy Flooring Pros provides epoxy flooring and related flooring services, which may include:

  • Garage floor epoxy coatings.

  • Epoxy floor repair and recoating.

  • Industrial epoxy flooring.

  • Metallic epoxy flooring.

  • Concrete surface preparation.

  • Floor coating application and finishing.

  • Other related flooring services agreed upon with a customer.

Service availability and suitability depend on the property, existing floor conditions, project requirements, material compatibility, and the scope of work agreed upon.

Not every coating system or finish is suitable for every surface or environment.

3. Estimates and Project Agreements

Customers may contact us to request an estimate, discuss a flooring project, or arrange a site assessment.

Estimates may be based on the information available at the time of preparation, including approximate floor area, visible surface conditions, selected coating system, and requested finish.

The final project price may need to be revised if an inspection reveals concealed damage, moisture problems, extensive surface preparation requirements, incompatible existing coatings, or other conditions that could not reasonably be identified beforehand.

We will communicate material changes in the proposed scope or price and obtain any required customer approval before proceeding with additional chargeable work.

A quote does not guarantee a specific result if the underlying concrete or other substrate has conditions that prevent the proposed system from performing as expected.

The agreed project scope, pricing, payment schedule, and other important conditions should be documented in a written estimate or service agreement.

If a specific written agreement conflicts with these general terms, the written agreement will control for the conflicting project-specific provisions, to the extent permitted by law.

4. Surface Preparation and Existing Conditions

Proper surface preparation is an important part of many epoxy flooring installations.

Depending on the project, preparation may involve cleaning, grinding, removal of existing coatings, patching, crack repair, or other work specified in the project agreement.

The final performance of a floor coating may be affected by existing conditions, including:

  • Moisture within or beneath the concrete.

  • Hydrostatic pressure or moisture vapor transmission.

  • Cracks, movement, or structural defects.

  • Oil, grease, chemicals, or other contamination.

  • Weak, deteriorated, or improperly cured concrete.

  • Existing coatings or sealers that interfere with adhesion.

  • Temperature and humidity conditions.

  • Improper use or maintenance after installation.

We will evaluate reasonably observable conditions and discuss material concerns when identified.

However, certain underlying conditions may not be visible during an initial inspection. Additional testing, preparation, repairs, or a different coating system may be recommended if new information becomes available.

Unless expressly included in the written agreement, structural repairs, major concrete replacement, moisture mitigation, and other specialized remediation work are not included in the quoted price.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information about the property and the requested project.

Before work begins, customers should, as applicable:

  • Remove vehicles, furniture, stored items, and other obstacles from the work area.

  • Provide reasonable access to the project location.

  • Identify known moisture problems, leaks, previous coating failures, or concrete damage.

  • Disclose known chemical spills or other contamination.

  • Identify concealed utilities or site conditions that could affect the work.

  • Provide access to necessary utilities when agreed upon.

  • Keep children, pets, and unauthorized persons away from the work area.

  • Follow instructions regarding ventilation, access restrictions, curing, and reentry.

  • Ensure they have authority to authorize the work on the property.

Customers are responsible for protecting personal belongings and removing items that could be affected by dust, odors, surface preparation, or installation activities.

If the work area is inaccessible, unsafe, or materially different from the conditions described in the estimate, we may need to postpone or modify the work. Any resulting charges will be handled according to the project agreement and applicable law.

6. Scheduling and Project Delays

We will make reasonable efforts to complete projects according to the agreed schedule.

However, installation schedules may be affected by temperature, humidity, concrete moisture conditions, surface preparation requirements, material availability, product-specific curing requirements, unexpected substrate damage, equipment problems, restricted site access, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where practical, we will communicate significant scheduling changes and work with the customer to establish an updated schedule.

Any completion dates stated in an estimate are subject to the terms of the applicable agreement and conditions affecting safe and proper installation.

7. Pricing, Deposits, and Payments

Project pricing and payment requirements will be stated in the applicable estimate, invoice, or written agreement.

Depending on the project, the payment arrangement may include a deposit, progress payments, milestone payments, or a final payment upon completion.

Any deposit, cancellation charge, or other payment condition must be disclosed and handled in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.

Customers are responsible for paying authorized charges for services performed and materials supplied, subject to applicable contractual and legal rights.

Additional work outside the original scope may result in additional charges. We will seek the necessary approval before performing chargeable extra work, except where applicable law or the circumstances permit otherwise.

If you have a question about an invoice, please contact us promptly so we can review it.

8. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

Customers who need to change or cancel a project should contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

The applicable agreement may address cancellation notice, rescheduling, materials already ordered, work already completed, and other project-specific costs.

Refunds, if applicable, will be handled in accordance with the project agreement and applicable law.

Nothing in these terms waives any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived, including rights that may apply to certain home improvement contracts or transactions.

9. Installation, Curing, and Safe Use

Epoxy and other floor coating systems require appropriate application conditions and curing time.

The time needed before walking on, moving items onto, or driving vehicles over a coated surface depends on the specific product, application thickness, temperature, humidity, ventilation, manufacturer instructions, and site conditions.

Customers must follow the project-specific instructions we provide regarding:

  • Foot traffic and vehicle traffic.

  • Moving furniture or heavy equipment.

  • Ventilation and access restrictions.

  • Cleaning and maintenance.

  • Chemical exposure.

  • Protection from water, dirt, and other contaminants during curing.

Allowing traffic on a surface before it has sufficiently cured may damage the coating or affect its performance.

We do not guarantee that a floor will be ready for use at a particular time unless that timing is expressly agreed upon in writing and is consistent with the applicable product requirements and site conditions.

10. Appearance and Finish Variations

Epoxy flooring may have variations in color, gloss, texture, metallic movement, flake distribution, or other visual characteristics.

The final appearance may be affected by lighting, substrate condition, application technique, material batches, environmental conditions, and the characteristics of the selected coating system.

Samples, photographs, renderings, and online examples are provided for general reference and may not perfectly match the completed installation.

Unless expressly stated in the written agreement, exact uniformity of color, pattern, gloss, or texture is not guaranteed.

We will make reasonable efforts to achieve the agreed finish within the practical limitations of the selected materials and installation conditions.

11. Warranties and Workmanship

Any express workmanship warranty or product warranty applicable to a project will be described in the written agreement or accompanying warranty documentation.

Manufacturer warranties, when available, are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, we do not promise that a floor coating will remain free from all wear, scratches, discoloration, staining, or damage under every condition of use.

Coating performance may be affected by improper maintenance, excessive loads, impact, abrasion, chemical exposure, moisture, structural movement, or use outside the product's intended purpose.

Nothing in these terms eliminates any warranty or remedy required by applicable law.

12. Property Damage and Existing Defects

We will exercise reasonable care while performing authorized work.

Customers should identify known property defects, concealed utilities, fragile items, and other conditions that could be affected by the project.

We are not responsible for preexisting damage or defects unrelated to our work, subject to applicable law.

If you believe damage occurred during a project, please contact us promptly with a description of the concern, the project address, and supporting photographs or documentation where available.

We will review reported concerns in a reasonable manner.

Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for damage or injury to the extent that such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Carrollton Epoxy Flooring Pros will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.

We do not guarantee that our website will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or browser.

Any limitation of liability concerning a specific flooring project will be interpreted in accordance with Texas law and the applicable written agreement.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Health, Safety, and Site Access

Flooring preparation and coating work may involve machinery, dust, odors, chemical products, and temporary restrictions on access to the work area.

Customers must respect safety barriers and follow reasonable instructions concerning access, ventilation, and reentry.

We may suspend work if conditions present a material safety concern or prevent proper application of the specified materials.

Customers should keep children, pets, visitors, and other unauthorized persons away from active work areas until it is safe to enter.

Any specific safety or ventilation instructions provided for the products used on a project should be followed.

17. Force Majeure

We will not be considered in breach of a service commitment to the extent that performance is prevented or materially delayed by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, subject to applicable law and the relevant project agreement.

Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, supply interruptions, governmental restrictions, emergencies, or other extraordinary events.

Where reasonably possible, we will communicate material delays and work with the customer to determine an appropriate next step.

This provision does not automatically cancel payment obligations for work already performed or override rights and remedies required by law.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.

Any invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permissible.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with any applicable written estimate, project agreement, and Privacy Policy, describe the general terms governing use of our website and our relationship with customers.

A specific written project agreement may establish additional terms for a particular installation.
